New Waste Water System for AoG

As the number of buildings grew on the Angels of God ranch, it became apparent that there was a real need for a new waste-water system that was coordinated across the property.  How could capacity be increased, and yet the need to frequently pump out each individual tank minimized? Rocky searched and studied options for 3 years before a final solution was selected.

Eleven new septic tanks were installed, including one 1,500 gallon, two 1,000 gallon, and the rest 500 gallons each. Connected through miles of pipe, pumps move the waste water through the system, eventually dumping the effluent into a drainage canal that borders the north side of the property.

Of the eleven new tanks, two were installed during the summer of 2017; nine more were installed and the system tied together during the three men’s missions in January and February 2018.  With the septic system working, the new house is finally ready to be occupied by 12 boys, house parents and their children, and relief house parents.
